Ruth's Love Widows Fund is a project that falls under Ugandan Orphan Childcare Ministries, USA. Most of these widows fostered our kids for over seven years until we could provide better living conditions and opportunities for them.

The widows under our care have been assessed and qualified as those who have very little or no support from family. They are completely vulnerable. We named this fund after one of the precious widows, Ruth, that recently passed away from neglect and intentional harm due to the jealousy of another family member. It's sometimes the harsh reality of life in Uganda. Ruth was one of the most generous and intelligent women in the village. She suffered greatly, but is now at rest, released from the abuse she endured.

These women need care, love and protection. In honor of Ruth's life, we hope to provide a place where you can make a difference in the lives of widows in similar circumstances that knew and loved Ruth.
