Building Repair Projects
Our team just returned from visiting Ugandan Orphan Childcare Ministries (UOCC) this June—and have gotten a first hand view of many areas that need work at UOCC. With your help, we’re committed to making lasting improvements that directly impact the lives of the children, staff, and community.
After years of wear and tear, along with heavy seasonal rains, many areas of the campus are in urgent need of repair. These buildings are more than just structures—they are safe havens, sleeping quarters, and gathering spaces that shape futures every day.
🔧 Repairs We Aim to Complete:
Your donations will help fund hands-on work including:

Fixing cracks in walls throughout the dorms, kitchen and living spaces

Redoing crumbling wall sections damaged by years of water erosion

Replacing broken windows for improved safety and protection from weather

Plastering and painting both interior and exterior walls and fences to refresh and preserve

Re-leveling and replacing the turf in the compound for safer play

Additional structural upkeep as needed while on-site

These improvements will help restore dignity, security, and comfort for the children and staff who live, learn, and serve at UOCC each day. Our team will be providing the labor—but we need your support to supply the materials and local tradespeople needed to get it done.

CURRENT PHASE AS OF 11/17/2025:
URGENT REPAIRS - WE CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE! 
**TOTAL NEED: $3558.82
To fix these issues in the 3 remaining dorm rooms we need to fix the water drainage on the top of the 3rd floor, repair, plaster and paint inside the 3 dorm rooms and replace/repair the veranda/balcony on the 2nd floor which also acts as water control for the floor below.
Once these repairs are completed they will be able to move in all the new beds for the kids! They have delayed moving them in until the repair work could be completed in the dorms. The kids are so ready to receive their new beds, and to live in dry rooms. The rain has been so excessive this year that we must get these fixed ASAP.
